  Have been many times to the fermoys and newton branch of this store and I am very satisfied with the service and attitude from all the staff at both stores. Very informative about their products (food and non-food items) and animals that I have enquired about. Highly recommended to all who shop for there pets wether it be cats, dogs, fish, reptiles, birds or small mammals for treats, housing (cages), toys, accessories, animals and more.

  As a reptile and fish lover, i am a big fan. From a reptile point of view, they have a nice selection and the animals are in good health in my experience. They sell live food too which is a bonus.

  I just wanted to let you know about a bad expeirence I've recently had at Fermoys! We've always bought the fair majority of our Fish from you and we've never had a problem, we've always seen the same guy (tall with long hair tied in a ponytail) and he's soo lovely! Always very helpful! But one of your employees who served me and my mum today, well let's just say he was down right rude! I spent ages looking at the fish and had to go find him as no one was around to serve us! When I asked to buy some fish he first asked how big our tank was, I told him 200 litre and he replied with a 'hmm', I then said could I buy 5 gourami's , 2 Angel fish and 1 keyhole. He asked what fish I already had and I told him, he then continued to argue with me about how I wasn't allowed those fish with the fish I already had, I told him we had 40+ years of Expeirence with fish at that we knew what we could have with what, but yet he still continued to argue with us which I was not happy with atall! Talk about rubbish customer service! He ignored anything we said and was adamant he was the only person who was right! In the end he walked off and someone else had to serve me and I got 5 gourami's, I can tell you I am not happy at all! He was so rude and arrogant I will definitely not be shopping at your place again! I will be telling people what your Rude staff member is like! It's a shame as your other employee has always been soo lovely to us!
